Bennigan’s Celebrates National Monte Cristo Day With Two-Week Promotion

Bennigan’s is celebrating National Monte Cristo Day and Halfway to St. Paddy’s Day with a party worthy of its Irish heritage.

Beginning September 13, guests can enjoy a free World Famous Monte Cristo with the purchase of any item of equal or greater value. And because Bennigan’s knows that one day is not enough time to satisfy a Monte craving, they are extending the national holiday to a two-week celebration.

“No one has successfully created a Monte Cristo as Legendary as Bennigan’s, which is why we take National Monte Cristo Day so seriously,” says Legendary Restaurant Brands Chairman and CEO Paul Mangiamele. “In honor of our 40th Anniversary, we have extended this year’s celebration so that guests dining in our restaurants all across the globe will get to experience the joy of biting into one of life’s greatest indulgences.”

Bennigan’s World Famous Monte Cristo starts with honey wheat bread layered with tender ham, roasted turkey, and Swiss and American cheeses. It’s then batter-dipped, gently fried and coated with powdered sugar, and served with red raspberry preserves for dipping.

In addition to the Monte Madness, on September 17, Bennigan’s restaurants throughout the chain’s global system will throw their annual Halfway to St. Paddy’s Day parties, with Irish-themed food and drink specials, live entertainment, green beer, and more.

In addition to its chef-driven menu, guests won’t want to miss out on Bennigan’s generous pours of such Irish-themed specialty cocktails as The Skinny Leprechaun, Celtic Hurricane, Long Ireland Iced Tea or the Shamrockin’ Sangria.

Now with more than 150 restaurants open or under contract worldwide, Legendary Restaurant Brands LLC is continuing to experience strong growth while simultaneously redefining casual dining. Since the end of 2012, the company has opened new franchise locations in Clarksburg and Frederick, Maryland; Santa Clara and Fremont, California; Melbourne and Panama City, Florida, Saddle Brook, New Jerset; Tysons Corner, Virginia; Veracruz, Mexico; Larnaca, Cyprus; and Dubai, UAE.
