Known for its dry aged steaks hand-cut in-house, award-winning wine list and unparalleled dining experience, The Capital Grille announced that it will debut in the Raleigh-Durham area of North Carolina on July 11. The new 8,900-square-foot restaurant will open at North Hills in Raleigh, joining the area's multi-faceted, outdoor shopping district.

Ranked fifth in the nation for the "Best Local Food Scene" by USA Today, The Capital Grille is joining a sophisticated Raleigh dining scene that rivals many of the country's major metropolitan areas.

"The Raleigh area has arguably been one of the country's best kept dining secrets – one which the entire Capital Grille team is excited to be a part of," says Joseph Butler, managing partner, The Capital Grille Raleigh. "Our unparalleled dining experience is a perfect match for Raleigh diners who are always searching for what's next. We look forward to welcoming our first guests."

The Capital Grille features an on-site butcher and steaks dry-aged in-house between 18 to 24 days for maximum tenderness and flavor. A skilled pastry chef makes fresh desserts each morning and mozzarella is handmade in-house every 90 minutes. The Capital Grille is also known for its blend of menu classics and fresh twists on appetizers and sides, such as the Signature Pan-Fried Calamari with Hot Cherry Peppers.

Hand-selected by The Capital Grille's Master Sommelier—one of less than 250 worldwide—the restaurant's wine list features more than 350 selections, including gems from $30 to more than $1,000. The Capital Grille uncorks the good life for wine enthusiasts with personalized wine lockers available for lease, complete with brass nameplate, and specially curated wines. Additionally, cocktails are available to accommodate every taste, including the Stoli Doli, The Capital Grille's signature martini infused with fresh pineapple, chilled and served straight up.

The Capital Grille Raleigh, located at 4242 Six Forks Road, will have a seating capacity of 293 guests among the main dining room, four private dining rooms and an enclosed patio. Private dining will be available in The Board Room (seats six), The State Room (seats 10), The Capital Room (seats 24), and The Wine Room (seats 40). Whether it's an intimate party, a lavish reception or an important business meeting, private dining with The Capital Grille Raleigh guarantees a comfortable room, elegant table setting, customized menu with world-class wines and a dedicated staff providing gracious, anticipatory service.
