The Cheesecake Factory’s famous Pumpkin Cheesecake and Pumpkin Pecan Cheesecake are back in season early this year. Traditionally available beginning in October, this year the popular cheesecakes were introduced September 1.

For every slice of Pumpkin Cheesecake and Pumpkin Pecan Cheesecake sold this year, The Cheesecake Factory will donate 25 cents to Feeding America, the nation’s largest organization dedicated to fighting domestic hunger through a network of food banks. Over the last eight years The Cheesecake Factory has donated more than $4 million to Feeding America through the sale of its specially designated cheesecakes.

The Cheesecake Factory’s Pumpkin Cheesecake is a creamy cheesecake baked in a graham-cracker crust and topped with fresh whipped cream. The Pumpkin Pecan Cheesecake is the best of both worlds, combining a layer of pecan pie with a layer of pumpkin cheesecake finished with caramel and pecans all in a flakey pastry crust.

“Our guests look forward to Pumpkin and Pumpkin Pecan Cheesecake returning to our menu every year and we’re so pleased to offer them in September this year in honor of Hunger Action Month,” says David Overton, founder and CEO of The Cheesecake Factory. “The Cheesecake Factory is proud of our ongoing relationship with Feeding America and we’re delighted that our very popular Pumpkin and Pumpkin Pecan Cheesecakes will benefit them.”

The Cheesecake Factory’s support of Feeding America is one of several programs that it has initiated to support hunger-relief in America. The company’s staff members nationwide participate in an annual Peanut Butter Drive during September’s Hunger Action Month to benefit local Feeding America food banks. In 2015, The Cheesecake Factory’s generous staff members collected more than 180,000 pounds of peanut butter, and they are currently hard at work collecting peanut butter for this year’s drive. The company also participates in a nationwide Harvest Food Donation Program by regularly donating fresh food from its restaurants to local food rescue operations for distribution to soup kitchens and shelters to aid those in need. Since the program’s inception in 2007, The Cheesecake Factory has donated more than 3.8 million pounds of food.
