Del Frisco's Restaurant Group, Inc. announced that it has closed the Del Frisco's Grille in Palm Beach, Florida, effective November 29. The company had previously recorded a $3.3 million non-cash impairment charge related to the Palm Beach Del Frisco's Grille and will incur one-time lease termination and closing costs during the fourth quarter.
"Despite our best effort, we were not able to make the Palm Beach Del Frisco's Grille restaurant as successful as other Grille locations," says Mark S. Mednansky, CEO of Del Frisco's Restaurant Group. "We have therefore chosen to take decisive action to close the location so that we can focus on more profitable opportunities. We continue to have complete confidence in the Grille concept and are looking forward to opening new restaurants in carefully selected locations."
