Firebirds Wood Fired Grill celebrated its 15-year anniversary on December 6. The collection of polished-casual restaurants is based in Charlotte, North Carolina, and has 37 locations across the country with its 38th coming to West Des Moines, Iowa, later this month.

"Our founder Dennis Thompson blazed the trail 15 years ago, creating Firebirds as one of the very first restaurants in the polished-casual niche," says Stephen Loftis, vice president of marketing. "Throughout the years, we have continued to put our best foot forward to ensure a quality and consistent full-spectrum dining experience for all of our guests."

Firebirds stays on trend by keeping its food and cocktail menus refreshed throughout each season. Its new Winter Features menu, available through January 5, features ingredients such as Brussels sprouts, quinoa, avocados, and dark chocolate. Popular items include the Grilled Swordfish, topped with lump crab, avocado, cilantro, and chiles and served with warm quinoa salad, and the Banana Cream Pie with caramelized bananas, salted caramel, and dark chocolate. Alongside Firebirds' seasonal selections, guests can try The Federalist chardonnay and cabernet sauvignon wines, featured through January 5. In addition, children can order from a healthy kids' menu with items certified by the National Restaurant Association's Kids LiveWell program, such as sirloin steak and wood-grilled mahi.

In celebration of the anniversary and just in time for the holidays, Firebirds will offer a $20 bonus card for every $100 spent in gift cards through January 5. Guests can enjoy half-priced appetizers and drink specials from the FIREBAR weekdays from 4 to 6:30 p.m. at the bar and outdoor patio. The restaurant also offers banquet services, catering, and gift cards. Guests can also register for Firebirds' E-Club to be the first to hear about upcoming events, promotions, new menu items, and exclusive offers
