Johnny Rockets Appoints New VP of Operations and Training
Johnny Rockets, the global restaurant chain, announced the appointment of Jim Kensinger in the newly created role of vice president of operations services and training. Kensinger is responsible for improving the quality, consistency, and profitability of the brand's franchise and corporate restaurants worldwide through communication, training, and engagement. Jim Kensinger will oversee the implementation of new technologies and techniques to improve operational productivity, increase efficiency, reduce costs, and maintain industry standards. Kensinger will report to James Walker the president of operations and development for Johnny Rockets.

Jim Kensinger brings more than 35 years of experience to the Johnny Rockets team. Prior to joining the company, Kensinger held the position of executive vice president at Catalina Restaurant Group, parent company of Coco's Bakery Restaurants and Carrows Restaurants. Kensinger was responsible for operations and training and supervised the development and implementation of numerous improvements including food and labor management systems.
During his career with Catalina Restaurant Group, Jim received numerous promotions, growing with the company from regional and district management to the executive team. His experience with family style, full-service restaurant brands includes franchising, facilities, information technology, and real estate.
Also joining Johnny Rockets is Chris Ferguson, director of operations for the East Coast and Dillon McFarland, international franchise support manager for the Middle East and Asia. Chris is responsible for overseeing domestic operations on the East Coast. Dillon will support international
