Texas de Brazil Churrascaria, one of the nation's leading Brazilian steakhouses, opened in Oklahoma City. The new 7,300-square-foot restaurant accommodates 190 guests and features an open-view grill in the dining area, a wine wall, custom wooden feature table, and a bar/lounge area. Centrally located at the city's popular shopping destination, Penn Square Mall, the new Oklahoma City location is the company's 48th restaurant and second in the state of Oklahoma. Texas de Brazil opened a Tulsa location in June of this year.

"We are thrilled to bring the art of churrasco to the residents of Oklahoma City," says Evandro Caregnato, culinary director, Texas de Brazil. "We are currently having great success with our recently opened, Tulsa location and we're eager to continue sharing our authentic Brazilian experience with even more guests in this emerging metropolis."

The restaurant boasts an endless display of flame-grilled beef, lamb, pork, chicken and Brazilian sausage, slow-roasted and carved by the restaurant's gauchos at each table, as directed by the guest's red and green disks. Additionally, the menu features an elaborate salad area, beautifully decorated by large tropical flowers and featuring 50 fresh gourmet items, such as imported cheeses, charcuterie, Feijoada, roasted vegetables and creamy lobster bisque. To further enhance the dining experience, an extensive award-winning wine list, refreshing Brazilian cocktails and a-la-carte dessert selections are also offered.
