Internationally acclaimed Chef Gastón Acurio’s American-based restaurants, La Mar by Gastón Acurio Miami, La Mar San Francisco, and Tanta Chicago, collaborate for an inaugural month-long celebration in July to commemorate Fiestas Patrias Peruanas—Peruvian National Holidays. These holidays honor Peru’s independence from Spain on July 28, 1821 as well as Peru's Armed Forces and National Police on July 29. 

As ambassadors of Peruvian cuisine and culture, Chefs Diego Oka (Miami), Victoriano Lopez (San Francisco), and Jesus Delgado (Chicago) will celebrate by creating a month-long special menu, featuring two dishes and a paired cocktail created by each chef. Each location will feature this special tasting menu, which is available à la carte for lunch and dinner and as a prix-fixe menu offered at $75 for dinner only, exclusive of tax and gratuity. 

Additionally, these Peruvian chef ambassadors will join forces to present a commemorative menu at La Mar Miami from July 26—28. To further showcase the best of Peru, an exciting trip giveaway runs in conjunction with the three-day series at La Mar Miami. Guests can enter to win two round-trip business class tickets from Miami to Lima on LATAM Airlines. As part of the giveaway, the winner will also enjoy a one-night stay at the luxurious Mandarin Oriental, Miami, a dinner for two at La Mar Miami and Astrid & Gastón “Casa Moreyra” in Lima..
