The RAM Restaurant Group, owners of The RAM and C.B. & Potts Restaurants and Breweries, recently participated in the annual “Ales for ALS” campaign, raising $15,762 for ALS research. Their “IPA 4 ALS” small-batch seasonal IPA was on tap at all company locations. To raise money, $1 from each frosty pint sold was donated back to the fundraising initiative.

Dave Leonard, director of brewery operations says, “For the second year, the Ales for ALS IPA was a tremendous success. We sold 15,762 pints company-wide which equates to $15,762 that we have the pleasure of donating to the ALS foundation. Last year we were extremely happy with the $3k donation but to see our donation grow by such a large amount and having the chance to offer the beer at all of our locations was awesome.”

The “Ales for ALS” program was created by Loftus Ranches and Hopunion in Yakima, Washington provides a promising experimental one-of-a-kind hop pellet blend, free-of-charge, to participating brewers to create a great beer for a great cause. The RAM and C.B. & Potts were proud to be chosen to participate along with the select group of other esteemed brewers throughout the country.
