The National Restaurant Association announced the lineup of the nation’s top celebrity chefs to share their culinary know-how on the World Culinary Showcase stage at the National Restaurant Association Restaurant, Hotel-Motel Show, taking place at Chicago’s McCormick Place from May 20—23. Attendees will have the opportunity to learn the latest cooking practices and trends from acclaimed chefs such as Top Chef Masters winner Rick Bayless, Worst Cooks in America host Anne Burrell, and Top Chef All Stars competitor Fabio Viviani.

“The renowned celebrity chefs participating in this year’s World Culinary Showcase demonstrate some of the first-class techniques, tips, and tricks that catapulted them into the spotlight,” says Atour Eyvazian, convention chair for NRA Show 2017 and multiunit owner of 107 Jack in the Box restaurants in Houston and San Antonio. “Their combined expertise and insights are part of what makes the NRA Show 2017 a one-stop destination for any foodservice operator.”

The World Culinary Showcase, running all four days of the NRA Show, will feature chefs from across the country with a wide range of culinary specialties.

The 2017 World Culinary Showcase lineup includes:

Rick Bayless—Winner of Bravo’s Top Chef Masters and multiple James Beard award winner, author of seven award-winning cookbooks, chef/owner of Frontera Grill, Topolobampo, XOCO, Leña Brava, Cruz Blanca Cervecería, and founder of Frontera Farmer Foundation, which attracts support for small Midwestern farms.

Anne Burrell—Host of Worst Cooks in America on Food Network, and author of two cookbooks.

Maneet Chauhan—Chopped judge, Iron Chef challenger, author and James Beard Award-winner, owner of Chauhan Ale & Masala House, and co-owner of Mantra Artisan Ales in Nashville, Tennessee.

Duff Goldman—Veteran of French Laundry, Vail Cascade Hotel, and Todd English’s Olives, opened Charm City Cakes in 2002 and the star of hit Food Network show, Ace of Cakes.

Robert Irvine—Host of The Food Network’s Restaurant: Impossible and Restaurant Express, seen on Dinner: Impossible, Worst Cooks in America, and The Next Iron Chef, author of two cookbooks Mission: Cook! and Impossible to Easy, and one healthy living book, Fit Fuel: A Chef’s Guide to Eating Well and Living Your Best Life.

Stephanie Izard—Executive chef and owner of Girl & the Goat, Little Goat, and Duck Duck Goat, James Beard “Best Chef: Great Lakes” recipient 2013, 2011 Food & Wine “Best New Chef,” and first woman to win Bravo’s Top Chef.

Matthew Kenney—World’s leading plant-based chef, the writer of several best-selling cookbooks, named one of America’s Best New Chefs by Food & Wine Magazine, twice nominated as a Rising Star Chef in America by the James Beard Foundation, a culinary educator, and an entrepreneur specializing in the plant-based lifestyle.

Jeff Mauro—Winner, Season 7, of Food Network’s Food Network Star, host of Sandwich King, The Kitchen, and The Kitchen Sink, partner and executive chef of Pork & Mindy’s restaurants and retail line of sauces and meats.

Pat Neely—Host and executive producer of Save to Win, author of cookbooks such as Back Home with the Neelys and Down Home with the Neelys, and former host of Down Home with the Neelys.

Barton Seaver—Winner of three Rising Culinary Star awards, named 2009 Esquire “Chef of the Year,” author of six books, including For Cod and Country: Simple, Delicious, Sustainable Cooking and Where There’s Smoke.

Aarti Sequeira—Host of Food Network’s Aarti Party, author of Aarti Party: An American Kitchen with an Indian Soul, and winner, Season 6, of Food Network’s Food Network Star.

Ming Tsai—James Beard Award winner, chef/owner of Blue Ginger in Wellesley, Mass. and Blue Dragon in Boston, Mass., host of Simply Ming, and has authored five cookbooks.

Fabio Viviani—Chef/owner of multiple restaurants including Cafe Firenze, Firenze Osteria, Siena Tavern, and Bar Siena, appeared on Bravo’s Top Chef, Top Chef All Stars and Life After Top Chef, and author of four best-selling cookbooks, including Fabio’s Italian Kitchen.

The World Culinary Showcase demonstrations run all four days of the NRA Show.

The National Restaurant Association Restaurant, Hotel-Motel Show, the largest annual gathering of foodservice professionals in the United States, returns to McCormick Place in Chicago from May 20—23, 2017.
