The best of the world’s craft beer industry will soon meet in Kentucky to eat, drink, compete, and celebrate their love of the art and science of beer at the fourth annual Alltech Craft Brews & Food Fest. Held May 20 at the Lexington Convention Center, the event will feature 63 craft breweries that will showcase more than 240 craft beers.

Hosting more than 5,000 craft beer fans in 2016, the Alltech Craft Brews & Food Fest expects to draw an even bigger crowd this coming May, with more craft beers for attendees to sample than ever before. Local favorites such as Country Boy Brewing, Ethereal Brewing, Blue Stallion Brewing, Mirror Twin Brewing, and Paducah Beer Werks will complement the regional brands of Sierra Nevada Brewing Company, SweetWater Brewing Company, Goose Island Beer Company, Boston Beer Company, New Belgium Brewing, Elysian Brewing Company, and Golden Road Brewing. Also included this year will be a special Irish pub featuring imported brands never before seen in Kentucky, such as St. Austell Brewery and Foxes Rock.

Craft beer fans will have the opportunity to pair the selections with savory and sweet treats from local food vendors. With live tunes from up-and-coming local musicians, they can enjoy the day with friends and meet some new ones as they say hello to members of the Kentucky Bourbon Trail Craft Tour.

Kentucky’s only professional beer competition, the Commonwealth Craft Beer Cup, will also be up for grabs again at the Alltech Craft Brews & Food Fest, with breweries from all over the world currently sending in samples to be judged.

“We are really excited to feature as many local brands as we can,” said Pete Weiss, marketing manager for Alltech Lexington Brewing & Distilling Co. “It being Lexington Craft Beer Week, we want to bring everyone together to celebrate Kentucky’s booming brewery and food scene.”

Tickets to the Alltech Craft Brews & Food Fest  are only $25 through April 9. April 10–20, tickets will be available for $30.
