Share Our Strength invites Atlantans to join the fight against childhood hunger at the sixth annual Give Me Five event, an evening of exquisite food and wine on Sunday, August 19, at Cherokee Town Club in the beautiful Buckhead neighborhood of Atlanta.

Beginning with a cocktail reception at 5 p.m., guests will enjoy a five-course dinner delicately prepared by acclaimed local chefs with wine pairings selected by the chefs and sommeliers.

To celebrate its sixth anniversary, this year’s event will feature six culinarians led by chef Michael Diehl of East Lake Golf Club alongside chef Anthony Gray of Southern Art and Bourbon Bar, chef Pano Karatassos of Kyma, chef Kevin Gillespie of Woodfire Grill, chef Eric Karell of St. Ives Country Club, and pastry chef Heather Hurlbert of HH Desserts.

Guests will enjoy a thorough and enlightening explanation of each wine and food pairing by five of Atlanta’s finest sommeliers led by Silvio Garcia of Cherokee Town Club and including Andrés Loaiza of Aria, Niko Karatassos of Buckhead Life Restaurant Group, Matt Bradford of Canoe, and Dorine Buche of BLT Steak.

In addition to the gourmet five-course meal, attendees will enjoy live and silent auctions that will feature a variety of unique items including special donations from each participating chef and live entertainment. Auction items will include stunning jewelry, rich wines, getaway travel packages, and intimate in-home chef dinners.
