Boardroom Spirits, the craft distillery based in Lansdale, was recently ranked third in the nation for specialty craft spirit distillation by USA Today 10 Best Readers’ Choice.
A panel of six experts, chosen for their knowledge of the American craft spirits scene, partnered with 10 Best editors to nominate 20 U.S. distilleries that excel in crafting spirits that go beyond the bounds of traditional distilling. Boardroom Spirits was an obvious choice for nomination based on their inventive Periodic Table of Spirits line. Inspired by the founders’ Armenian and Hungarian heritage, the eau de vie-style line includes ‘B’, 100% beet spirit and ‘C’, 100% carrot spirit as well as apple and pear spirits. USA Today 10Best readers determined the top 10 distilleries through a month-long online voting campaign.
“It may sound cheesy, but it’s true: it was a thrill just to be nominated by some of the most authoritative and experienced spirits judges and journalists in the country,” says Marat Mamedov, co-owner and founder at Boardroom Spirits. “To then be ranked so highly by the public is incredibly affirming to me and everyone at Boardroom.”
In addition to the Periodic Table of Spirits, the craft distillery is known for their emphasis on using natural ingredients to create clean distilled spirits, particularly in their FRESH line of infused vodkas, which can all be found in Fine Wine & Good Spirits stores throughout Pennsylvania, online, and in the Boardroom Spirits tasting room.
