Boston’s Launches Annual Heart-Shaped Pizza Campaign

Boston’s Pizza Restaurant & Sports Bar announced the launch of its annual ‘Boston’s Cares’ fundraising campaign in an effort to help fight childhood hunger across the country. During the campaign, which runs January 15- February 18, Boston’s guests will have the opportunity to donate to the cause as each location will collect proceeds from the sale of all gourmet, heart-shaped pizzas and limited-edition desserts to benefit the brand’s national charity partner, No Kid Hungry.

Throughout the month-long campaign, guests can show that they care by visiting their local Boston’s and participating in a variety of philanthropic initiatives happening at the restaurant including:

Spreading the love by decorating and displaying paper hearts in the restaurant for a minimum donation of $1

Enjoying heart-shaped pizzas, which are available from February 9–14. $1 from each heart-shaped pizza sold will be donated to No Kid Hungry

Making things extra sweet, $1 from each delectable, limited edition red velvet cupcake sold will also be donated to support No Kid Hungry

With each initiative above, a portion of the proceeds will go directly to No Kid Hungry. For each $1 raised, No Kid Hungry provides 10 meals to a child in need, translating to Boston’s donating 250,000 meals to hungry and malnourished children across the United States. At the end of the campaign, Boston’s hopes to raise $25,000 to help end childhood hunger in America.

The Boston’s Cares campaign follows the brand’s successful charitable giving initiatives in 2017, such as the fundraiser to support victims of Hurricane Harvey and the year-round ‘Round Up’ initiative, where guests can round up their bill to the nearest dollar to support various charities, among several other efforts. Since its inception in 2003, the Boston’s Pizza Foundation has raised more than $1.7M to support countless charities across the United States.

Boston’s Pizza Restaurant and Sports Bar’s U.S. operations are based in Dallas, and currently has 25 locations in 16 states. The company’s sister brand, Boston Pizza, has over 400 locations throughout Canada and is widely- recognized as the No. 1 casual dining brand in the country.
