BRAVO Introduces New Concept: BRAVO Coastal Bar & Kitchen
There’s an exciting evolution in casual dining in Siesta Key: BRAVO Coastal Bar & Kitchen. Built from the ground up, BRAVO Coastal Bar & Kitchen presents a coastal casual feel, which is a distinctive twist on two popular restaurants: BRAVO Cucina Italiana and BRIO Tuscan Grille. Located at Westfield Siesta Key, at 3501 S. Tamiami Trail, Sarasota, Florida, the restaurant opened Thursday.
With the same friendly, genuine hospitality as BRAVO Cucina Italiana and BRIO Tuscan Grille, BRAVO Coastal Bar & Kitchen features a seasonal menu featuring chef-driven, made-from-scratch items, from shareable small plates to gourmet sandwiches and signature main dishes. New, simple recipes present the highest quality ingredients. Brunch, lunch and dinner items; as well as kids’ meals, are featured on the unique menu. The vibrant bar serves handcrafted cocktails, more than 30 wines (all of which are offered by the glass) and local craft beers.
Unique to this concept and brand, BRAVO Coastal will have showcase a Bakery. Opening at 8 a.m. seven days a week, the BRAVO Coastal Bar & Kitchen Bakery will offer the perfect way for guests to start their day: with delicious baked goods from the pastry case at the front of the restaurant, and inviting morning coffee. The baked goods include assorted cookies, quick breads (banana nut with chocolate chips, and strawberry), strawberry bread, strawberry oat bars, artisanal breads, glazed croissant donuts, and crispy treats.
Welcoming with a relaxed feel, the restaurant features urban coastal décor with exposed beams and wood tables. The large outdoor terrace features fire pits, comfortable lounge seating, and interactive games—an engaging atmosphere for all ages.
Lunch offerings vary from “Handhelds” including the Double Stacked Burger with white cheddar and hand cut fries; to “Mains” such as Chicken Saltimbocca, a delicious dish featuring butternut squash; to “Greens & Such” including a Shaved Vegetable Salad with feta; and “Closers” including Peanut Butter Pie with Oreo crust.
Dinner is a selection of tasty dishes including “Small Plates” ideal for sharing, including Crispy Calamari with sweet chile aioli, buffalo sauce, lime, cilantro; “Handhelds” such as a Crispy Fish Sandwich with sriracha honey; “Mains” including Grilled Branzino complemented by a panzanella salad; “Veggies” including Brussels Sprouts featuring Hobb's bacon, walnuts, maple mustard aioli, balsamic vinegar; and “Closers” such as S’Mores Donuts enticing with Nutella and marshmallow dips.
Weekend Brunch items range from Avocado Toast with delicious sunny side up cage free eggs; to the sweet Granola Crusted French Toast; and irresistibly shareable Shrimp & Grits, featuring creamy smoked Gouda polenta. Kids can enjoy brunch dishes including French Toast and Scrambled Eggs. Brunch beverages include the Bloody Mary, which is slightly spicy; and Brut 187 ml, Mionetto Prestige (Treviso, Italy).
The drinks menu tempts with “House Made Infusions” including Spicy Mango Tequila; specialty drinks such as the Cucumber Basil Gimlet; craft beers including Maui Pineapple Wheat and other beers; a robust selection of red, white and bubbly wines; and an offering of “Zero Proof” cocktails including Cucumber Coconut water and a house made Lemonade among others.
To-Go dishes include various selections from the lunch and dinner menu.
Presenting a family-friendly atmosphere including fun-filled games, BRAVO Coastal Bar & Kitchen offers kids’ dishes including Grilled Cheese, Burger, Pasta, Chicken Fingers, Grilled Chicken and Grilled Salmon, all served with a drink such as milk, juice, fountain drinks or a Shirley Temple.
BRAVO Coastal Bar & Kitchen opens at 8 a.m., seven days a week. Lunch and dinner are served Monday–Thursday 11 a.m.–10 p.m., and Friday and Saturday 11 a.m.–11 p.m. Weekend brunch is served Saturday 11 a.m.–3 p.m. and Sunday 10 a.m.–3 p.m. Social Hour (happy hour), is daily in the bar from 3:30–6:30 p.m., and also Monday–Friday 9 p.m.–close.
