Cheeseburger in Paradise is calling out to all fans to put their master mixology skills to the test with the Concoct a Colada Contest. Celebrating the summer, fans will be able to go online and enter their own creative twist on the tropical staple for a chance to win an all-inclusive trip to Jamaica.
“Cheeseburger in Paradise is known for unique cocktails with an innovative culinary twist,” says Casey Barile, Cheeseburger in Paradise director of marketing. “We want to see what our fans would do if they could make their own version of our popular pina colada drinks. This is a fun way for them to show us something new and different.”
During the Concoct a Colada Contest, Cheeseburger in Paradise is welcoming guests to try flights of its popular pina colada flavors featuring Coruba Coconut Rum. All flights are offered with a side car of Appleton Estate V/X rum as a float option.
After trying some of the favorites, it’s time for customers to let the creative (and fruit) juices flow and come up with their own spin on the traditional summer cocktail. Here’s how to enter (no purchase necessary):
- Each recipe that is submitted will receive an emailed coupon for the next visit so every recipe is a winner!
- When the final four coladas are selected, the finalist and 10 of their friends will be invited to their local Cheeseburger in Paradise for a preview party to try their recipe along with awesome food for a Recipe Reveal party.
- The top four pina colada recipes will be on a special insert during the month of August and customers will have the chance to order a finalist flight of the pina colada contest to taste.
- Voting instructions will be included on an insert when guests come to visit, so they can submit their winner for the recipe contest. To vote in the restaurant, guests can use the “text the winner” code or visit the website.
- The recipe that receives the most votes in the restaurants and on the website will be the winner.

- Grand Prize – An all-inclusive trip for two to Jamaica to stay at a beautiful resort and visit the Appleton Estate Distillery. Plus, the winning pina colada will be on the Cheeseburger in Paradise menu.
- Second through Fourth Place – Margaritaville Frozen Concoction Machine drink prize pack and a $100 Ticket to Paradise for Cheeseburger in Paradise.
- All four finalists will be invited to a Recipe Reveal party in the beginning of August for them and 10 of their friends to try their recipe along with awesome food.
