Continuing its longstanding support of Feeding America, The Cheesecake Factory Incorporated will donate one meal to Feeding America for every order placed on DoorDash from The Cheesecake Factory and Grand Lux Cafe restaurants across the United States this September in recognition of Hunger Action Month.

The September donation to Feeding America is just one of several hunger-relief programs The Cheesecake Factory has initiated. For every slice of its recently introduced Very Cherry Ghirardelli Chocolate Cheesecake sold through February 2019, The Cheesecake Factory will donate 25 cents to Feeding America. Since 2008, The Cheesecake Factory has donated more than $4.3 million to Feeding America through the sale of its specially designated cheesecakes. Additionally, The Cheesecake Factory and Grand Lux Cafe staff members across the country participate in an annual Peanut Butter Drive during Hunger Action Month to benefit local Feeding America food banks.

 In 2017, the company’s generous staff members collected more than 186,000 pounds of peanut butter, and they are currently hard at work collecting for this year’s drive. The Company also participates in a nationwide Harvest Food Donation Program by regularly donating fresh food from its restaurants to local food rescue operations for distribution to soup kitchens and shelters. Since the program’s inception in 2007, The Cheesecake Factory Incorporated has donated more than 4.7 million pounds of food.

DoorDash is The Cheesecake Factory Incorporated’s exclusive national delivery partner. 

For every order placed on DoorDash this September for delivery from a participating The Cheesecake Factory or Grand Lux Cafe restaurant, The Cheesecake Factory Incorporated will donate $0.10 to Feeding America. $1 helps provide at least 10 meals secured by Feeding America on behalf of local member food banks. Meal equivalency valid as of February 1, 2018.
