Chef Scott Crawford announced his third restaurant project under Crawford Hospitality – Crawford Brothers – a modern American steakhouse to open in Cary, North Carolina, in 2020. “Crawford Brothers presents an exciting opportunity for us to explore another timeless restaurant experience,” says Crawford, whose reputation for refining and elevating classics throughout his career earned him five James Beard Foundation semifinalist nominations, several 5-star accolades, a winning appearance on Bravo TV’s “Recipe for Deception,” and “Triangle’s Restaurant of the Year” for his eponymous Crawford and Son.

Crawford Brothers will open in Fenton – the 92-acre mixed use development in Cary, NC. “We tapped Chef Scott Crawford as our North Carolina-based chef to anchor Fenton’s culinary direction, alongside Atlanta-based chef Ford Fry, who will open Superica,” says Dotan Zuckerman. “In this era of online shopping, it is more critical than ever to create a phenomenal experience for our guests at Fenton, which is why we are committed to curating a mix of best-in-class chef-driven restaurants at Fenton.  Scott Crawford, Ford Fry – and several others yet to be announced – certainly fit the bill.”

In keeping with tradition, chef Scott Crawford references family when naming Crawford Brothers, this time, his close relationship with his brother. The 4,500 square foot restaurant will open in Phase 1 of Fenton’s development. Crawford Brothers will specialize in house dry-aged beef, an extensive wine program, a vibrant cocktail bar and lounge featuring a lighter menu, and will be open for lunch and dinner. “Crawford Brothers is another dream come true for my family and team; we’re beyond excited to serve our community and support this area’s growth with a beautiful steakhouse experience,” says Crawford.
