City Tap Opens in Midtown Atlanta
City Tap Atlanta opened on February 6. Overseen by Executive Chef Greg Gettles, the inventive food menu is designed to pair with City Tap's extensive craft beer offerings, featuring many picks from local breweries like Monday Night Brewing, Orpheus Brewing, Wild Heaven Beer, SweetWater Brewery, and New Realm Brewing, alongside international offerings.
Highlights from the dinner menu include a selection of Wood-Fired Pizzas; Rabbit Pot Pie, made with braised rabbit, bacon, and vegetable stew baked in puff pastry; Grilled 14oz. Ribeye Frites, served with creamed collard greens and fingerling potatoes; and Goat Cheese & Apple Ravioli, served with pepperoncini, ham hock butter, and truffle pecorino.
Serving happy hour and dinner, City Tap is open from 3 p.m. to midnight Monday through Thursday, 3 p.m. to 2 a.m. Friday and Saturday, and 3 p.m. to 10 p.m. on Sundays. Lunch and brunch service are to follow in the coming months.
City Tap Atlanta includes 10,000 square feet of restaurant space with a covered patio, an expansive mezzanine with a full bar and two private dining spaces, and first-floor dining with seating for over 100. The design draws inspiration from City Tap’s signature aesthetic, with a mix of rustic and industrial elements including iron framework, reclaimed wood, and copper and stone bars. Alongside the front of the restaurant is a brick patio featuring a firepit and lounge-style seating, and around the corner, a double-sided bar opens to the interior on one side and onto a long patio for al fresco dining.
