Component Hardware Group Names Partha Biswas CEO
Partha Biswas as president and Chief Executive Officer of CHG. Partha succeeded, in September 2018, interim CEO Greg Tucholski, who continues to serve on the company’s board of directors.
“I am excited and honored to have the privilege of leading CHG, a company with a rich history and tremendous potential for growth,” said Biswas, who brings more than 25 years of general management, global supply chain, strategic planning, engineering and technology leadership experience to the role.
Prior to joining CHG, Mr. Biswas was the Group President for seven years at Middleby Corporation, a publicly traded global manufacturing company in the food service and food processing equipment industry. As a member of Middleby's executive management team, Partha was responsible for leading several domestic and international businesses including Star, Toastmaster, Holman, Lang, Wells, Bloomfield, Carter-Hoffmann, CookTek, Celfrost and Spooner Vicars. During his tenure at Middleby, he led the acquisition, turnaround and expansion of multiple businesses based in the U.S., India, and the UK. Partha also headed the supply chain and strategic sourcing teams for all Middleby divisions, globally. Prior to Middleby, Mr. Biswas served as the Chief Strategy Officer for Joerns Healthcare and was instrumental in driving the growth and transformation of its long-term care business. Prior to joining Joerns, he held various senior leadership positions at ICI-AkzoNobel, BOC Gases and Sunrise Medical.
“Having known Partha for a number of years, and followed his career progression, he was the ideal CEO candidate when the opportunity arose at CHG,” says Craig Majernik, Managing Director at Windjammer Capital Investors, adding that “already his vision and innovative thinking, combined with an enthusiastic and natural leadership style, have the company on the path to a successful transition to the next level of performance.”
Mr. Biswas will be joining the CHG team at the upcoming NAFEM show in Orlando, Florida.
