ArrowStream, Inc., a supply chain innovator that combines expertise in data science and analytics to improve the way supply chains perform, announced that CraftWorks Restaurants & Breweries, Inc., a multi-brand restaurant operator that includes Gordon Biersch Brewery Restaurants, Rock Bottom Restaurants & Breweries, and Old Chicago Pizza & Taproom, has licensed ArrowStream's OnDemand software to support managing food spend and enhance collaboration with its suppliers and distributors.

CraftWorks' corporate supply chain team sought a robust software solution to support many critical activities, including supplier management, contract management, contract price compliance, and traceability of products within the foodservice supply chain.

"As we set out to find the right software solution, we had a vision about how we wanted to change the way we are managing our supply chain, which has a significant amount of complexity since we support multiple brands," says Scott Adams, vice president of Strategic Supply and Initiatives. "We looked at several technologies and services. We are excited to work with such a comprehensive system as ArrowStream offers. ArrowStream really understands foodservice and all of the complexities that come along with it."

OnDemand empowers companies like CraftWorks to quickly uncover the biggest savings opportunities and proactively address the most pressing threats in their supply chains by centralizing inventory, contract, and quality assurance information. OnDemand's streamlined interface eliminates the need for traditional data mining by bringing specific challenges to the forefront, providing the means to understand the root causes and take immediate action. By utilizing this software, supply chain teams become more responsive and adaptable in keeping up with the changing nature of their environments.

"We see tremendous alignment between OnDemand's continued evolution and CraftWorks' strategic vision," adds Jeff Dorr, chief customer officer, ArrowStream. "ArrowStream is always excited to be pushing the envelope and see how far up and down the supply chain we can make a positive impact. We can't wait to see the results from CraftWorks' initial SKU rationalization project, support their multi-concept expansion, and hear about the wins our new Supplier Portal delivers. It's going to be fun, and we are glad to be a part of CraftWorks' growth."
