The love affair between Dads and Arooga’s is alive and well every day of the year, and on Father’s Day, Sunday, June 18, America’s hottest restaurant and sports bar is letting Dads eat free at all 10 of its corporate locations in Central Pennsylvania and its franchised restaurants in Uncasville, Connecticut, and Warwick, Rhode Island. Arooga’s Patchogue, New York, location will offer $2 Arooga Light drafts to Dad.

“There are many reasons why Father’s Day is one of the biggest non-sports holidays of the year at Arooga’s and free food for Dads is one more reason to bring the family to Arooga’s to celebrate Dad’s awesomeness,” says Gary Huether, Jr., co-founder and president of Arooga’s. “With a huge draft selection, incredible Wagyu burgers, award-winning wings and a view of every game from every seat–potentially Game 7 of the NBA Finals – there is no place dad would rather spend his day. We are thanking Dads for being Dads with some amazing free food.”

With Dad approved eats such as their Doughnut burger made with a Wagyu burger topped with American cheese and Applewood smoked bacon between two glazed doughnut halves and spicy Buffalo Chicken Cheesesteak that tastes just like wings on a bun, or their huge menu boasting everything from hand breaded appetizers and hand stretched bolis, to IPA infused brats and sizzling fajitas, Arooga’s is right up Dad’s alley.  Great for the kids, and even better for Dad, Arooga’s is the perfect place to celebrate your Pops and show him just how much you appreciate him … by stuffing him with awesome food while drinking a cold beer surrounded by TVs showing sports.

Also, on that Sunday, several Central-Pennsylvania Arooga’s (downtown and those on Rt. 11, 15, 22 & 39) will host a Pints for Prostates fundraiser from 6pm-8pm. If you’re a Harrisburg Senators or Washington Nationals fan, or just want to take part in raising awareness for men’s health, then these locations are the place to be.  Players from the Harrisburg Senators will make an appearance, meet and greet guests and sign autographs. There will also be a silent auction featuring awesome Senators memorabilia, cool beer swag, and much more, whose proceeds will benefit the PA Prostate Cancer Coalition, whose mission is to make prostate cancer a key public health care priority in Pennsylvania.

Since opening its first restaurant in Harrisburg in 2008, Arooga’s has strived to offer its guests the ultimate sports bar experience by offering the latest trends in technology and service, and has also paved the way for sports bars everywhere to offer guests healthy dining alternatives by sourcing clean ingredients that are free of antibiotics and hormones, and in many cases certified organic. Arooga’s began franchising in 2014 and in addition to 10 corporate locations in Central Pennsylvania, Arooga’s currently has four franchise locations in operation, with locations in Florida and Massachusetts currently under development.
