Del Frisco’s Double Eagle Steakhouse announced the Esquire Champagne Room, a new destination for those seeking a chic setting filled with reserve bottles of sparking wine, decadent bites, live piano and more. The renowned steakhouse is set to open the venue in December followed by an over-the-top New Year’s Eve event and official grand opening celebrations in January.

Located on the third floor of Del Frisco’s Double Eagle Steakhouse, the luxurious lounge will feature an extensive list of 50 Champagne and sparking wines in addition to a range of fine spirts and a full wine collection boasting more than 1,700 labels. The culinary menu will showcase selections exclusive to the Esquire Champagne Room, differing from those offered in Del Frisco’s main dining room. Diners can indulge in caviar, oysters, raw sea urchin, lobster, foie gras, a wide variety of crudo, charcuterie and more. A variety of Champagne cocktails will showcase a range of bubbles in a festive manner.

“We are thrilled to open this sophisticated oasis for Chicago’s Champagne lovers,” says Don Adams, general manager of Del Frisco’s Double Eagle Steakhouse. “We look forward to hosting all those interested in an elevated experience, no matter the occasion.”

Designed by the award winning Aria Group Architects, the 1,500 square foot Esquire Champagne Room was by inspired by the characteristics of a Champagne bottle – the packaging as well as the rose and golden hues found in Champagne itself. The launch of the new hot spot comes on the heels of an extensive, restaurant-wide design refresh, also by Aria Group Architects.

The new Champagne room will graciously 60 seat guests with 48 plush, banquette seats and eight luxury stools at the mahogany bar. There will be live entertainment nightly with a baby grand piano and trio for special evenings, and additional programming beginning in 2018. This new destination is the ideal setting for residents in the area looking for a sophisticated chic experience, professionals closing a business deal, shoppers seeking respite from a day in the Gold Coast, bridal showers, engagements and celebrations of all kinds.

The Esquire Champagne Room will be open Tuesday through Saturday from 6 p.m. to 1 a.m. and available on Sundays and Mondays for private events. Reservations are strongly suggested; seating is otherwise on a first come, first served basis.
