Ellis Island Casino Hotel and Brewery is expanding. The popular family-owned Vegas destination renowned by locals and tourists alike for its excellent food, great gaming, and unmatched value recently announced a new outdoor dining, drinking, and entertainment venue to be named “The Front Yard.”

Stretching along Koval Lane, the two-story venue will feature a casual brewpub atmosphere, bar games and activities, regular live entertainment, and a dazzling neon view of the Las Vegas Strip.

“Ellis Island has been a Las Vegas favorite for generations,” said Christina Ellis, director of marketing for Ellis Island. “The Front Yard is an exciting addition to the property that will offer something new and engaging to our guests while retaining the inviting, family-oriented feeling that Ellis Island is known for.”

A two-story destination with a capacity of 300, The Front Yard will feature an interior that is fun and funky with no pretense or attitude. Wood fixtures, exposed steel, and low lighting will make the brand-new venue feel as welcoming and comfortable as an old favorite. The Front Yard will raise the bar for outdoor drinking and dining and present a garden-like lush and green atmosphere. In addition, guests will have the opportunity to play exciting and interactive bar games such as cornhole, shuffleboard, and beer pong.

The double-decker restaurant and bar features a second floor area with an atrium view. This allows guests both upstairs and downstairs a great vantage point to watch the live entertainment. Musical acts will range from local favorite acts and up-and-comers to the occasional headliner.

The flexible space will also be available to rent for private parties, corporate events, weddings and receptions, corporate retreats, and more.

Already one of the largest independent breweries in the Southwest, Ellis Island Brewery will be incorporated in the design of The Front Yard. An existing exterior wall will be replaced with a window so patrons can see the copper tanks and brewing process from inside. Additionally, the venue has plans to distill its own spirits within the area for guests to see and taste.

The Front Yard will feature a variety of brews straight from the brewery to the tap, serving fresh beers that rotate seasonally. A full cocktail and wine menu will also be available at the bar.

The restaurant and bar will occupy the northwest area of the Ellis Island property at the intersection of Flamingo Road and Koval Lane, allowing prime, unobstructed views of the Las Vegas Strip.

Slated to open this year, The Front Yard is expected to generate at least 100 full-time jobs. Continuing to cater to Las Vegas’s local employees as Ellis Island and their sister properties The Village Pubs have been known to do for many years, The Front Yard will offer casino employees with valid work ID two complimentary drinks.
