Boston-based ezCater, the world’s largest marketplace for online catering, has moved its HQ from Downtown Crossing to nearby Congress Square. It needs its new 100,000 square feet, double the size of the previous footprint, to make room for 200 new team members, and as many as 750 in total. The company has raised over $320,000,000 and has made two acquisitions over the past year alone.

The workspace has been designed to reflect and nurture ezCater’s strong culture, rooted in transparency, fast and decisive action and a commitment to being (in its CEO’s words) insanely helpful. While taking up four floors (and a rooftop) at a WeWork building at 40 Water Street, the look and feel is 100 percent ezCater. The company chose a WeWork location for its flexibility to accommodate rapid growth that long-term leases cannot.
