FLAT Tech—a global leader in solutions for wobbly tables, an issue that plagues owner/operators of all sizes in the restaurant, bar, nightclub, and hospitality industries—will be sharing a new message and new exhibits at this year’s National Restaurant Association Restaurant, Hotel-Motel (NRA) Show, held in Chicago, Illinois.

Barry Mancell, FLAT Tech’s CEO, says, “We have some fantastic new product options to share with attendees at this year’s NRA Show, and have made our products even easier to buy in recent months following an upsurge in demand from foodservice distributors nationwide.  Following the launch of the FLAT Equalizers product line, which earned 2018 KI Awards recognition, we’ve been hard at work building the next phase of growth and products for the U.S. Market.” Barry and his new VP of Sales for the Americas, Nils Hughes, will be on hand to answer questions about FLAT Tech and their new strategy for supporting and engaging the North American marketplace.

The FLAT Tech booth (#3088) will host demonstrations of their multi-award-winning products – FLAT Table Bases and FLAT Equalizers.

Multi-award-winning FLAT Table Bases are the ideal table bases of choice for operators looking for new self-stabilizing tables. FLAT’s patented hydraulic technology, located underneath the table base, adjusts to uneven surfaces automatically whenever it is moved and stabilizes the table to create a great dining experience. Users of FLAT Table Bases also benefit from FLAT’s unique table top alignment capabilities. When bringing tables together for larger groups, FLAT’s technology can be used to help align multiple adjoining table tops – creating a smooth dining surface.

FLAT Equalizers (the company’s solution for fixing existing wobbly tables) provide many of the benefits provided by their table bases. FLAT Equalizers have patents pending and replace the existing screw-in feet on unstable tables. They adjust to uneven surfaces following a gentle press on the table top, stabilizing the table. Attendees will have the opportunity to see FLAT Equalizer demonstrations at this year’s show, as well as meet the executive team to hear how important solving this problem can be.

The impressive, in-person demonstrations provide an extraordinary insight into the technology FLAT Tech has developed and the benefits provided to operators. The FLAT Tech exhibit should be a high priority stop for any operators and facility managers that understand how important customer experience is to their brand.

“The problem of wobbly tables is one that almost every owner or operator can sympathize with.  For decades, many restaurant managers have attempted to solve this problem with inadequate or unsightly temporary fixes—like napkins or coasters shoved under the table base to stop it from wobbling.” explains Nils. “These crude solutions also create hygiene issues as servers are in frequent contact with dirty table feet and floors and then potentially the customers’ food or drink. FLAT Tech are industry pioneers and our unique technology provides an effective solution to problems that damage customer experiences, staff productivity and brand reputations. Our products are easy to install, and simple to operate.” he continues.

The company’s vision is to effectively serve the foodservice markets in the United States. “Our goal this year has been to focus on building the best network of distributors, dealers, and field representatives to help our customers find our products and fix their wobbly tables. We understand that key distribution is the best way for FLAT Tech to help our customers have access to our products and learn about all the different solutions we can provide,” says Mancell.

FLAT Tech is bringing a large team to meet with attendees and help them find the right solution for their situation. Their team will include Barry Mancell, Nils Hughes, Andy O’Donnell (Marketing Director), as well as their new team of regional sales professionals – Jason Lee and Penny Risk. FLAT’s focus for this show is to give face-to-face demonstrations on how easy and effective their products can be to use, as well as to continue to develop our network of professional partnerships in the reseller market. If you’re attending the 2019 NRA Show, a stop by the FLAT Tech booth should definitely be on your schedule.
