National craft beverage franchise Growler USA is teaming up with San Diego-based Green Flash Brewing Co., to serve limited-edition Treasure Chest beer at brewpubs to fundraise for breast cancer awareness.

Treasure Chest, a limited edition bright and tropical IPA infused with passion fruit, will be available at all Growler USA brewpubs now through October 31. The national franchise will donate proceeds from each Treasure Chest beer sold to the Prevent Cancer Foundation in support of breast cancer research.

Raising money for the fight against breast cancer is a cause that has an especially personal connection for the founders of Green Flash. Brewery Co-Founder, Lisa Hinkley, is a breast cancer survivor and is passionate about giving back to those whose lives have been affected by the disease. Through the Treasure Chest program, the brewery has raised more than $300,000 dollars for breast cancer charities.

As advocates for the craft beverage community, Growler USA stands behind its True to the Brew philosophy that ensures each brewer’s vision for their product is honored and handed with care. Throughout October, two additional Green Flash beers will be available at select Growler USA’s brewpubs, including West Coast IPA and Sea to Sea Lager.

“This partnership combines of love of craft beer and local brewers and puts it to a great cause,” says Jessica Salrin, director of marketing at Growler USA. “We are honored that Growler USA is one of the national partners to serve Treasure Chest this October.”
