Reuters reported today that the famous Hooters hot wings will soon be available in Israel, at the Hooters restaurant that is planned to open in Tel Aviv.

Ofer Ahiraz has bought the Hooters franchise for Israel and told the news service that he predicts the quick serve will be successful in the Middle Eastern city. "I strongly believe that the Hooters concept is something that Israelis are looking for,” Ahiraz told Reuters.

Although the restaurant’s location within the city has not been finalized, Ahiraz said he will avoid opening near any large religious populations. Ahiraz told Reuters he hopes to open as many as five Hooters restaurants in the next five years, but that their menu items will not be kosher.

Currently, Hooters has restaurants in 23 countries in addition to its 430 locations in the U.S.
