Hwy 55 is getting an assist from the Information Superhighway in order to give its fans more and better opportunities to earn and redeem points for rewards and prizes.

Hwy 55 Burgers, Shakes & Fries, the highly lauded All-American family-friendly diner with 136 locations and growing rapidly, today announced the successful relaunch of its My Hwy 55 rewards program. The new program is an app-based structure that will give all current plan members an opportunity to transfer and keep their existing points while welcoming new members with great features. All Hwy 55 fans who download the app will receive a coupon for a FREE Hwy 55 milkshake.

“We may be a retro burger brand but we are uniquely aware of our guests’ needs for the latest in technology and we really wanted to thank our members for being Hwy 55 fans,” says Hwy 55 president Kenney Moore. “This is a complete overhaul of our loyalty program and is designed to be easier and better for our valued fans. And of course, we’ll surprise them with unexpected moments of delight from within the app.”

Earning rewards with the new My Hwy 55 loyalty program is as easy as 1, 2, 3, 4, 5:

Download the app. Just search for “’My Hwy 55” in the App Store or the Google Play store.

Create an account. Guests can choose to sign up with their email address and phone number or can connect their Facebook or Google account.

Optional: Connect to the old loyalty account. Members of the of the old program can keep all of their points by tapping “Connect your old account” and following the steps given.

Start scanning receipts. Each time guests visit Hwy 55, they should scan the code found at the bottom of their receipt and watch the points come in.

The chain also recently hosted the Hwy 55 Burgers, Shakes & Fries World Hamburger Eating Championship, the only hamburger eating competition recognized by All Pro Eating. On May 20, 2017, the No. 1 ranked independent competitive eater in the world Molly Schuyler set a world record in the 55 Challenge. The 100-pound mother of four devoured seven stacked Hwy 55 burgers (55 ounces of ground beef), a side of fries and a 24-oz. drink in one minute and thirty-seven seconds.
