The Rusty Bucket Restaurant and Tavern just recently opened its first location in South Florida at CityPlace in Doral. The only other Florida location is in Sarasota. The chain is based in Ohio and currently has 24 locations nationwide.

Rusty Bucket is a casual American restaurant and tavern and is the perfect destination for families, sports fans and professionals alike. It offers a menu and cocktail program that is entirely fresh. This includes weekday happy hours, daily drink specials featuring house-made cocktails, a variety of menus from kid’s to gluten-friendly, and Blue Plate Specials.

Here is the leadership team at the new location:

Sous Chef: The Rusty Bucket Doral’s Sous Chef, Juan Almeida was born and raised in Peru. He moved to the United States in 1998 and joined the military, where he remained for three years. Juan’s culinary career began at Red Robbin after leaving the military. After nine years as a kitchen manager and with the experience of opening eight restaurants under his belt, Juan made the move to join the Rusty Bucket team. When not working to make the Rusty Bucket a future Doral staple, Juan enjoys anything that involves being outdoors, riding street bikes, and has a passion for tattoos.

Executive Chef: Todd Vrooman worked for the United States Military Central Command, cooking for the Special Operations Community in both Iraq and Afghanistan. Todd considers himself a student of the world, having lived abroad for an extended period from places such as Sweden to the Middle East. His world travels and experiences have heightened his affinity for food and enhanced his skills as a chef. Todd is extremely excited to be joining The Rusty Bucket Family at their new Doral location.

Dining Room Manager: Brendan Celiberti joins the Doral team as the Dining Room Manager after having been part of the Rusty Bucket team for just over two years. Having started as a server in Naples, Brendan has worked his way up to bar manager and will continue to grow professionally and personally at the new Doral location. He is excited to continue working with the Bucket team and bring his experiences and knowledge to Doral.

General Manager: Eddie Garcia, general manager of Rusty Bucket Doral, was born and raised in New York. Having over nine years of restaurant experience, he will be bringing his leadership, energy, and innovation to Doral.  Prior to the Rusty Bucket, Eddie supported over 16 Red Robin locations. He believes success comes from building collaborative relations.
