Legal Sea Foods, located at 704 7th Street, NW, in Washington, D.C., ushered in autumn with new tempting cocktails sure to warm one’s spirits as temperatures fall. Each libation is made from a variety of fresh seasonal ingredients.  Pricing ranges from $9 to $13 for the new cocktails, and Legal Sea Foods renowned Raising the Bar program showcases the innovative take on the cocktail creation effort.  Newcomers include the Winter Gin & Tonic with LSF-curated St. George gin, spice box syrup, orange juice, lime, tonic, and clove; Endless Summer with Malibu rum, Gosling’s Black seal rum, pineapple, and lime; Cranberry Lemon Drop with Citrus vodka, botanicals, cranberry syrup, and lemon; Braveheart with Great King Street Artist’s blend scotch whisky, Teeling Small Batch Irish whiskey, falernum, lemon, and star anise, and the O.F.T.D. Daiquiri with Plantation Original Dark and O.F.T.D. Overproof rums, Pierre Ferrand 1840 cognac, falernum, and lime.

Legal Sea Foods selection of house specialty cocktails includes three different sangrias:

Apple Sangria, Apple vodka, Domaine de Canton, Gekkeikan plum wine, cinnamon, and sparkling apple cider; White Sangria, St. Germain, Citrus vodka, Sauvignon Blanc, lemonade, lemon-lime soda, and lemon bitters and the Legal Sangria, Spanish red wine, Cruzan Raspberry and Citrus rums, Merlet Crème de Pêche, lemon-lime soda, and fresh fruit.  One can also enjoy Legal’s Mai Tai, Plantation Original Dark & O.F.T.D. Overproof rums, Pierre Ferrand dry curaçao, almond, Angostura bitters, and lime; the Mexican Mule, Del Maguey Vida mezcal, Patrón Reposado tequila, muddled grapefruit, lime, and ginger beer; the Deadrise, Square One Cucumber vodka, muddled cucumber, lime, and grapefruit bitters; the Anjou Pear, Grey Goose Poire vodka, St. Germain, Pierre Ferrand Ambre cognac, and lemon; the Bloody Mary, Sobieski vodka and world famous LSF Bloody Mary mix, and the Patrón Margarita Reál, Patrón Reposado tequila, Patrón Citrónge, lime, and lemon juice.
