Just one year ago, STACKED: Food Well Built opened its first location near Los Angeles, and now the innovative restaurant company is adding another of America’s favorite comfort foods to the menu, Mac ‘n’ Cheese, and giving it the STACKED treatment.

At STACKED, guests use tableside technology to custom design their meals, while receiving full-service attention. Guests can design their orders in a create-your-own menu format, or choose from creative signature items built around flavors from across the world.

“You’ve never experienced Mac ‘n’ Cheese like what you’ll find or build at STACKED,” says Paul Motenko, co-founder, STACKED Restaurants. “Adding Mac ‘n’ Cheese to our menu was almost inevitable. Our guests have loved building their own burgers, pizzas, salads, and sausages, and now will enjoy being able to extend their creative sensibilities to Mac ‘n’ Cheese, one of America’s favorite foods.”

STACKED offers five inventive Mac signature dishes, including the “Egg on Your Face,” which is combines pork Andouille sausage, pepper jack cheese, French fries, roasted red and green peppers, and green onions topped with an over-medium fried egg and homemade potato chips.

The “Bacon Cheeseburger, No Bun!” fuses ground Angus beef, Applewood smoked bacon, American cheese, and onions. For the seafood lover, the “Cajun Shrimp” Mac dish features Cajun-style shrimp, pepper jack cheese, roasted red pepper, and chopped green onions.

The “Rosemary’s Chicken” option includes tender grilled chicken and roast garlic with a hint of fresh rosemary. And last but not least, “The Italian” is melding of Italian sausage, roasted red pepper, caramelized onions, roasted garlic, Roma tomatoes, and fresh basil.

For those who consider themselves Mac ‘n’ Cheese artisans, STACKED offers more than two dozen ingredients for guests to design their own creations. Proteins included Canadian bacon, Pulled pork, blackened chicken, Italian sausage, and ground beef, while vegetable offerings include sundried tomatoes, sautéed mushrooms, roasted zucchini, jalapenos, dried sweet corn, and avocado. Guests can also add extras such as blue cheese, fresh Parmesan cheese, pepitas, and black olives.
