Rosewood Sand Hill, the luxury hotel located in Menlo Park, California, has appointed Luca Bruno as Restaurant General Manager at Madera, the hotel’s Michelin-starred signature restaurant. In his new role, Bruno will continue the ongoing success of Madera and oversee all restaurant operations including staff management and guest interactions. Bruno will also work closely with both front and back of house staff to optimize the restaurant experience for guests.

Bruno joins Madera as a seasoned professional in the food and beverage industry, with over 17 years of experience. Prior to joining Madera, Bruno worked as the Assistant General Manager and Wine Director at The Culina at Four Seasons Hotel in Beverly Hills, Los Angeles. Throughout his career, Bruno has also worked in world-renowned, Michelin-starred establishments, such as The Fat Duck in Bray, Berkshire and The French Laundry in Napa, California. In addition to his varied restaurant management experience, Bruno also earned his official sommelier certification with the Court of Master Sommelier organization, and graduated from University of California, Los Angeles with a concentration in Fundamentals of HR Management and General Business Studies of Entrepreneurship.
