Vornado Realty Trust and theMART are proud to introduce Marshall’s Landing at the Merchandise Mart, a new, unique lounge for tenants and building visitors to work, socialize, meet, eat, drink, nosh, and caffeinate, operated by DMK Restaurants, coming this June.

Designed by architecture firm A+I Architects, recent recipients of the 2017 AIA NY Chapter Design Award, Marshall’s Landing will become the center of gravity in theMART, located atop the Grand Stair on the second floor. Paying homage to iconic Chicago figure and building developer, Marshall Field, the name ‘Marshall’s Landing’ also was inspired as a designated place for tenants and visitors to ‘land’ and make their home base. This active, vibrant, multi-use space will provide comfortable and functional seating for individuals and groups of various sizes, as well as private meeting and customized event spaces.

Managed by DMK Restaurants, partners David Morton and Chef Michael Kornick will provide day-to-day menus with high-quality food and beverage offerings in a casual atmosphere, including artisanal coffee, a full-service bar with crafted cocktails, chef-inspired seasonal menus created for share-ability, and flexible catering options.

Marshall’s Landing incorporates interactive technological elements as a part of its nonintrusive service, and will be programmed to showcase the versatility of the space with curated events using the large projection screen by the Grand Stair, such as movie night with special food and beverage pairings.
