Midtown hotspot, 5TH & MAD is inviting tourists and locals to relax in beer as part of a day campaign to get locals and tourists involved in the spirit of the NYC marathon. The gastropub, located on 36th street between 5th Avenue and Madison Avenue is hosting the Marathon style event on November 5 to raise money for the Fresh Air Fund. Beer-enthusiasts will be able to drink and chill as they swim around in a pool full of Guinness.

The pub wants guests to feel at home as they down their drinks in style. Swimwear is encouraged, as it will allow guests to immerse themselves in the full experience, and let them enjoy the beer without worry. The NYC Marathon is the largest marathon in the world, with almost 100,000 people taking part, will take place on the 5th of November, with a 26.2-mile track for the runners. In 2015 $33.9 million was raised for good causes.

5TH & MAD are also offering $6 Happy Hour all day to celebrate the marathon. 5TH & MAD is sure to keep you refreshed and revitalised whilst watching the race, with two full-service bars that stock everything from beer, wine and spirits to cleverly crafted cocktails.
