Orlando World Center Marriott Unveils Latitude & Longitude Restaurant & Bar
Orlando World Center Marriott announced the launch of its newest restaurant and bar concept, Latitude & Longitude, aptly named for its diverse food and beverage offerings, drawing inspiration from distinct world regions, both land and sea. The contemporary yet timeless design— spearheaded by Design One out of New York—completely transformed the space, creating an ideal venue for leisure and business guests alike to gather, unwind and enjoy delectable cuisine at any time, including breakfast, lunch and dinner.
Executive Chef Eric Martinez presents three expertly curated menus, featuring Southern-inspired dishes with Florida flair, as well as rotating seasonal specials that boast vibrant flavors and utilize local in-season ingredients from area farms and vendors. Additionally, several menu items will incorporate organic produce and herbs grown sustainably in-house from Orlando World Center Marriott’s state-of-the-art hydroponic garden, scheduled for completion in Spring 2018.
“Latitude & Longitude provides another distinct dining experience that’s truly unlike any other at Orlando World Center Marriott, as it evolves from one meal to the next, not only offering different menus, but completely different ambiances as well,” says Ralph Scatena, General Manager of Orlando World Center Marriott. “It’s sophisticated, yet casual and approachable, aligning with our vision to serve as a multidimensional setting that inspires all. We are extremely excited to unveil our newest epicurean endeavor, especially with the cutting-edge hydroponic garden nearing completion.”
Balancing artistic, eye-catching light fixtures and dark, sleek surfaces, including rich wood floors and lustrous leather booths, complimented by refreshingly bright white columns throughout, Latitude & Longitude effortlessly blends texture and warmth. The restaurant and the expansive “L” shaped bar—accented by illuminated shelves of spirits and multiple TVs—can be seen as guests pass through the lobby, exuding an open and inviting atmosphere, while naturally connecting the spaces to provide enhanced socializing and networking opportunities.
Latitude & Longitude was designed with the flexibility to accommodate up to 500 guests for breakfast and lunch, 200 for dinner and 700 for special events, when utilizing the Hydroponic Terrace—the large outdoor deck surrounding the hydroponic garden—and the four new private dining rooms, complete with versatile pocket door configurations determining their size. The restaurant and bar seating dwindles by night to provide a more intimate experience, perfect for a relaxing end to a busy day, enlivened by music, the buzz of conversation and the clinking of glasses until 10pm, seven days a week. The breakfast menu, from 7am to 11:30am, includes a la carte dining as well as an extensive buffet, while lunch is made-to-order from 11:30am to 3pm, followed by Bar Bites from 3pm to 6pm, and dinner service, from 6pm to 10pm, which features a full menu, in addition to a stocked bar.
