The Osso Good Company, maker of ridiculously good, sippable bone broths, today announced the addition of natural products innovator, social entrepreneur and author, Tyler Gage, to its Board of Directors. Well respected industry-wide for his inspiring and innovative approach to building robust businesses and creating social good, Gage will serve as a strategic advisor to the brand in his new role, while helping to accomplish its mission of making the nutrient-dense power of healing foods easily accessible for all.

“Tyler’s entrepreneurial spirit and incredible passion for the natural food and beverage industry is exactly the type of expertise that is invaluable as we look to expand awareness and adoption of the Osso Good brand,” said Meredith Cochran, co-founder, CEO and Board Chair of The Osso Good Co. “We are thrilled to have Tyler on board and look forward to working closely with him during an exciting time for Osso Good.”

An industry veteran, Gage spent 12 years studying the indigenous elders in the Amazon rainforest to co-found Runa, a company that makes energizing beverages with guayusa, a rare Amazonian tea leaf. Gage also serves on the Board of Directors for DAVIDsTEA and is the co-founding partner of NAKU, an indigenous healing center in the Ecuadorian Amazon.

“Osso Good is really speaking a unique language in today’s world by focusing on healing and nourishing the body and gut with their bone broths,” says Tyler Gage. “Targeting a specific need space with a powerful business growth approach and notion of social good is a passion that I am excited to share.”

The Osso Good Co. was born from the belief that food is medicine and uses only responsibly raised, hormone free and organic ingredients. Among the many benefits of bone broth consumption, gut health tops the list by reducing inflammation, promoting healthy digestion and healing and sealing the gut.
