Rabbit Hole Distilling, the Kentucky-based distillery modernizing the spirits landscape, announced significant growth into the Midwest with the additions of Indiana, Ohio, and Nebraska. Born in 2012 by Founder & Whiskey Maker Kaveh Zamanian in the heart of Louisville’s urban bourbon trail, Rabbit Hole Distilling sees increased demand since hitting shelves in 2017, now boasting a portfolio in eight states joining Illinois, Tennessee, Wisconsin, Georgia and Kentucky.

Remarkable success with global spirits competitions within the first year of distribution drives the rising demand, with accolades including: New York World Wine & Spirits Competition Double Gold for the Kentucky Straight Bourbon Whiskey and Kentucky Straight Rye Whiskey and Best Straight Bourbon in Show; New York International Spirits Competition Gold for the Kentucky Straight Bourbon Whiskey and Straight Bourbon Whiskey Finished in PX Sherry Casks; San Francisco World Spirits Competition Gold Medal for the Straight Bourbon Whiskey Finished in PX Sherry Casks; and LA International Spirits Competition Gold across the board with the Kentucky Straight Bourbon Whiskey and Straight Bourbon Whiskey Finished in PX Sherry Casks earning “Best of Category” designation.

Rabbit Hole stands firmly on the essence of inclusivity, promoting a sense of pride in this native spirit and bringing a burst of “un-traditionalism” to American whiskey culture. A self-proclaimed outsider in the bourbon community, Zamanian was inspired by the opportunity to modernize the industry. And now, the rabbit hops into additional Midwest markets and open arms in the heartland of America.

Kentucky Straight Bourbon Whiskey

The keystone product of Rabbit Hole Distilling, the Four-Grain Kentucky Straight Bourbon, epitomizes the best of the bourbon world – spectacular explosions of malted flavors – with a subtly sweet recipe twist. With a one-of-a-kind mash bill of 70% corn, 10% malted wheat, 10% honey malted barley, and 10% malted barley, this sipping bourbon is the only product on the market with barley as the secondary flavoring grain, offering a unique expression of traditional whiskey.

Kentucky Straight Rye Whiskey

A whiskey variation that drinkers will remember long after it leaves their glass, the Kentucky Straight Rye Whiskey is a bold representation of the best of the rye movement. Robust and strong, the spirit is comprised of 95% rye and 5% malted barley, and distilled and aged in Kentucky. It’s a true, genuine example of a rye that packs a punch.

Straight Bourbon Whiskey Finished in PX Sherry Casks – Fingerprint Edition

Showcasing the art of finishing and blending in whiskey, Straight Bourbon Whiskey with a wheat mash bill is first aged for five years in #4 char barrels. It’s then aged and finished in hand-selected, 30-year-old PX sherry casks from Spain, pouring a smooth and balanced spirit. Coined a Fingerprint Edition* PX Series, this one-of-a-kind blend by Rabbit Hole is an example of modern bourbon at its most refined with a mash bill of 68% corn, 18% wheat, and 14% malted barley.

London Dry Gin-Kentucky Rye Barrel Finished – Fingerprint Edition

This London Dry Gin is imported from England and is aged in Rabbit Hole’s Kentucky Rye barrels. It’s the perfect base for anything from a martini to a Negroni.

*Rabbit Hole’s Fingerprint Editions are small batch, limited releases showcasing Zamanian and his team’s hand in the art of finishing and blending sourced spirits.

Rabbit Hole Distilling introduces a new side of bourbon with an unconventional philosophy to Indiana, Ohio and Nebraska. Further growth across the U.S. will be seen in the coming months, with distribution in Minnesota launching in the fall of 2017, and California hopping on board in early 2018, more than doubling its distribution in just over one year of inception.

The forthcoming Rabbit Hole Distillery in Louisville will also be a new experience for guests to uncover this innovative bourbon. The new distillery, opening early 2018, is a place to showcase the identity, tradition, and legacy of bourbon making in Louisville and Kentucky. Visitors to the awe-inspiring new building will gain insight into the distillation process from start to finish, while ending their experience in one of the tasting bars or restaurant.

Rabbit Hole Distilling is turning the world of whiskey on its tail, inviting everyone to take a sip and dive down the rabbit hole. Rabbit Hole is now available at select retailers, bars, and restaurants in Indiana, Ohio and Nebraska.
