Rusty Bucket Restaurant & Tavern announced the promotions of three associates: Jeff Irwin from lead beverage trainer to beverage operations manager, Jacqueline Karp from marketing coordinator to marketing manager, and Anthony MacAdam from executive chef to regional chef

“Jeff, Jacqueline and Anthony have been shining examples of our say ‘yes’ company culture and exemplify this philosophy in their daily work,” says Gary Callicoat, president, Rusty Bucket Restaurant & Tavern. “These associates have consistently amplified our success through their commitment to our brand and our associates. Their dedication is apparent in their day-to-day work with our team, guests and community partners.”

Since joining Rusty Bucket more than a decade ago, Irwin, of Columbus, Ohio, has played an instrumental role in 13 restaurant grand openings. For each opening, he spends three weeks training bartenders at new restaurant locations, supervising staff, and assisting the management team with the beverage development program. Irwin began his career as a line cook, then moved to the front of the house as a server before moving into the bartending role. In his new position as beverage operations manager, Irwin will oversee the execution of the beverage program in all 23 properties, as well as, ongoing associate beverage training and development.

Irwin also serves as the beverage spokesperson for radio and TV opportunities for the brand, including regular segments on Mix 107.9. His outstanding attitude resulted in Irwin being recognized with the prestigious Bucket Life Award in 2018 at the company’s annual leadership conference, which honors an outstanding associate who embodies the culture of Rusty Bucket.

Joining Rusty Bucket in December 2011, Karp, of Columbus, opened the Bloomfield, Michigan, location as a host and local store marketing ambassador. She continued to work as a server/host at the Bingham Farms location and supported local store marketing efforts for all four Michigan Rusty Bucket locations for five years.

Karp also supported the marketing team in the summers of 2014 and 2015 as a marketing intern. In 2016, she relocated to Columbus and joined the team as marketing coordinator and has provided incredible support to all of Rusty Bucket’s restaurants with its community marketing efforts. She is the leader of the brand’s successful Dine ‘n Donate program, continuing to improve and grow the program since its inception in 2016.

MacAdam, of Hilliard, Ohio, joined the Rusty Bucket team in 2011 as a line cook and was quickly promoted to sous chef in January 2012. He was promoted to executive chef in 2013 and has run several Columbus-area kitchens, including Gahanna, Easton and most recently New Albany. The leadership team has recognized MacAdam’s years of hard work and are excited to have him join the Rusty Bucket Operations Team and continue to grow his career with the company.

“These promotions are just a few examples of the many opportunities for growth at Rusty Bucket,” said Callicoat. “We consistently promote 75 percent from within and strive to develop our associates from the first day of orientation and every day after. We are committed to helping our team members become who they want to be professionally and personally.”
