Sage Restaurant Group, Denver-based independent restaurant group dedicated to providing innovative, playful, and locally tailored food and beverage experiences, is honored to present a $33,271 check to Children Of Restaurant Employees (CORE), a 501(c)(3) national nonprofit organization. CORE provides support to children of food and beverage service employees navigating life-altering circumstances. In times of hardship brought on by death, injury, medical conditions, loss of home, or other trying circumstances, CORE is a community of support ensuring children feel cared for and valued.

Sage Restaurant Group’s Hungry To Help campaign is a guest and associate donation program that supports the groups’ commitment to positively impacting the communities in which we live, work and play. SRG Co-Founder Peter Karpinski says, “Philanthropy has been a major tenet of SRG’s culture since our founding year,” says SRG co-founder Peter Karpinski. “We actively seek out charitable efforts that directly affect the issues facing the communities in which we live, run our restaurants, and raise our families. From time to time families face extreme circumstances and can become overwhelmed financially and emotionally, and we are hoping to change that reality through our work with CORE.”

Denver-based Sage Restaurant Group, co-founded by restaurateur Karpinski, creates experiences where food, drink and inspired design meet and mix. These independent restaurants, adjacent to hotels, deliver exceptional catering and in-room dining experiences. With locations across the country, Sage Restaurant Group’s concepts feature a distinctive scene and a subtly infused local vibe designed to appeal to a guest who is hungry for life.
