S&D Coffee & Tea, the largest coffee and tea manufacturer and supplier to restaurants and convenience stores in America, named Tracy Ging vice president of strategic development. In this role, Ging will support president and CEO Ron Hinson in evaluating and implementing strategies to support the company’s continued growth.

“S&D has tremendous opportunities to not only grow its core business and presence within the foodservice industry, but also expand into other channels and product lines, and in this new role, Tracy will help us accelerate toward that vision,” says Hinson.

Bringing a wealth of experience in the coffee and tea industries, Ging returns to the company where she previously held the position of vice president of sustainability and strategic initiatives. In addition to her time with S&D, she has served as a corporate development advisor to various global companies and has over 10 years of experience on executive management teams designing strategies for growth and enhanced competitiveness.

Her extensive international business experience, includes helping build Da Vinci Gourmet’s market share in Northern Europe and Japan, establishing the Coffee Quality Institute’s programs in 15 coffee producing countries, and most recently, leading the merger between the Specialty Coffee Associations of America and Europe. Ging is currently Chair of World Coffee Research and on the Board of Directors for the Specialty Coffee Association.

“I am really fortunate to be back at S&D. The company has had an impressive track record, and I am excited to help them continue on that trajectory,” says Ging.
