Shoney's Expands Seafood Offerings with 4 New Items

It's that time of year when fresh seafood is at the top of everyone's wish list and Shoney's has netted four great new items for its lineup, as well as an enhanced Friday Night Endless Seafood Freshly Prepared Real Food Bar. And any time of year is a great time for value so Shoney’s, America’s Dinner Table for 70 years, is featuring a Soup, Salad & Breadstick Deal for $3.99 Monday through Friday, 11 am to close at participating locations.

Shoney's Seafood Fest features the best seafood found in its coast-to-coast search, prepared with the All-American iconic restaurant's signature, scratch-made quality, all under the supervision of Shoney’s Executive Chef Eric Cleveland and his team of culinary experts.

This year's catch features:

  • Blackened Shrimp Cobb Salad—Crisp romaine lettuce, blackened grilled shrimp, crumbled bacon, chopped egg, tomato & corn salsa, cheddar cheese and chopped cucumbers served with choice of dressing for $8.99.
  • Catfish Po’ Boy—A catfish fillet hand-breaded in our special Southern breading and lightly fried. Served on a toasted hoagie with lettuce, dill pickles and spicy tartar sauce. Served with French fries for $7.99.
  • Coconut Shrimp Platter—Delicious, crispy coconut shrimp served with rice pilaf, steamed vegetables and an orange ginger sauce for dipping. Includes Soup, Salad & Fruit Bar for $10.99.
  • Low Country Shrimp & Grits—Seasoned grilled shrimp and creamy grits topped with a zesty sauce and cheddar cheese, then garnished with chopped green onions. Includes Soup, Salad & Fruit Bar for $9.99.

Not only will these specials be on the menu through April 28, during the same period guests can enjoy Shoney's Friday Night Seafood Buffet, with newly enhanced seafood buffet items such as Cajun Steam Crawfish, Low-Country Seafood Rice, Garlic Steamed Mussels, Lemon Pepper Tilapia and Crab Cakes.

Always known for having the best-in-class value, Shoney’s is offering a Soup, Salad & Breadstick Deal that offers guests a quick and light meal at a great price during the week. For $3.99, guests receive an Iceberg Lettuce Salad, a bowl of the Soup of the Day and a Breadstick, which allows Shoney’s to showcase its delicious soups. The Soup of the Day line-in includes Loaded Baked Potato on Monday, Chicken Enchilada on Tuesday, Broccoli Cheddar on Wednesday, Gumbo on Thursday and Tomato Basil on Friday. The soup, salad & breadstick will come directly from the kitchen vs. buffet.
