Smithfield Foodservice and Waffle House, Inc., have come together again in celebration of this year’s NASCAR season with their annual Race for Rewards promotion. Now through July, the promotion places loyal diners front and center to experience the best in stock car racing and pork. This marks the fourth year the two breakfast giants have partnered to provide awesome prizes and exclusive experiences.

Local Waffle House restaurants are enhancing their guests’ dining experiences with a race for NASCAR access and swag. Waffle House visitors can enter themselves into the race for a chance to win Smithfield-branded racing gear and Waffle House merchandise.  One grand prizewinner will ride away in a 2017 Ford Mustang GT Premium, $10,000 in cash and a $500 Waffle House Gift Card. A first prizewinner will receive two credentials for pit and garage access at the stock car race of their choice and a $250 Waffle House Gift Card, and ten second place winners will receive a $100 Waffle House Gift Card.

“The Waffle House Race for Rewards has been a big sales success in the past four years due to their incredibly loyal customers,” says Michael Colette, director of national accounts at Smithfield Foods. “They love what Waffle House has to offer and we want to encourage that feeling by constantly providing great food and a great experience.”

Diners must download the Race for Rewards App from their Apple or Google Play store. Once downloaded, diners scan their check and begin accumulating playing points. Diners receive one point for each dollar spent at Waffle House and five points for every Smithfield branded pork product. Additional points are earned by participating in the fantasy-racing league on the smart phone app.
