Thos. Moser Contract’s Pacific Stool Represents Best in Hospitality Design and Innovation
Thos. Moser Contract announced its Pacific Stool, part of the Pacific Collection, won the Seating Individual-Dining Seating category at this year’s annual IIDA/HD Product Design Competition. Each year the International Interior Design Association (IIDA), in partnership with Hospitality Design (HD) magazine, facilitates the competition to honor innovation, functionality and aesthetic advancements in product design among those debuting on the show floor at the Hospitality Design Exposition & Conference (HD Expo) in Las Vegas.
Throughout the competition’s seven categories, which include Textiles, Lighting and Seating among others, product winners were selected based on technical advancements, cost efficiency, environmental consciousness, aesthetics, client-user benefits and need, and usage in the hospitality industry. This year’s IIDA member judging panel included: Susana Covarrubias, Gensler, Seattle; Patricia Rotondo, Chipman Design Architecture, Chicago; and Adam Stover, POPULOUS, Kansas City. Winners and category information is available at www.hospitalitydesign.com.
The Pacific Stool complements our award-winning Pacific Chair and furthers its original intent to honor a hospitality setting with both graceful design and lasting functionality,” says Aaron Moser, director of Moser Contract. “We are very proud of this acknowledgement.”
The Pacific Collection has become a standard Moser Contract offering and the addition of the Pacific Stool further embraces its contemporary aesthetic through subtle details and simple form. Inspired by the needs of the client to elevate restaurant, bar or public space seating, the design enhances a hospitality setting with an elegant, yet hardworking seating option.
