Tricky Fish to Open New Restaurant in March

Tarrant County diners will soon be able to more easily enjoy the coastal & Cajun inspired cuisine of Tricky Fish when the concept’s second location opens in one of Fort Worth’s most exciting multi-use developments, Waterside. Tricky Fish plans a March 2018 opening.

Tricky Fish is owned by Addison-based Razzoo’s, and opened its first location in Richardson’s CityLine in November of 2017.  Razzoo’s CEO Jeff Powell is excited about the Tricky Fish expansion.

“The expansion of the Tricky Fish brand to Fort Worth’s Waterside represents an important next step,” says Powell. “We’ve had such enthusiastic response from guests at our Richardson location, and we are certain that diners in this area of Tarrant County will share our love of fresh and flavorful cuisine with a relaxing atmosphere.”

The new Tricky Fish location joins a wide array of dining options at Waterside.  The restaurant will be 4,200 sq. ft. and has planned indoor seating for 145, including a large patio with additional seating for 50.  Named one of the Top 10 Retail Experiences in the nation by Chain Store Age magazine, Waterside features a full package of experiential amenities that are free for the community to enjoy during these fall events or anytime at their leisure, like free Wi-Fi, play areas, public art, Trinity Trails access, and more.

“Our polished casual service model is a great fit for the Waterside guests,” explains Razzoo’s President Chris Degan. “During weekday lunch service, we encourage diners to order at a counter so that they might dine quickly, and we offer full service during dinner and on the weekends.  Throughout the day, we offer a full bar with a wide array of craft cocktails.”

Since its opening last year in Richardson’s CityLine, Tricky Fish has thrilled diners with freshly prepared food with a coastal inspiration in a polished, casual environment.  The restaurant offers a daily happy hour from 5 p.m. to close, an expansive menu of craft cocktails, draft beers and sipping whiskies and a popular weekend brunch menu.
