With the 2018 opening ceremony for the much-anticipated Winter Olympics happening Thursday night, Wahlburgers created a commemorative cocktail dubbed “The Wahl-American” to show their support for the U.S. teams.
“Families look forward to cheering on the U.S. in every Olympics,” says Ashley Steriti, Beverage Lead at Wahlburgers Restaurants. “Creating the Wahl-American cocktail was a fun way for us to show our support and share a drink with our guests.”
To create the colorful layered red, white, and blue cocktail, Wahlburgers coats the bottom of the glass with grenadine, then adds ice. Next, they add 1.5oz of Smirnoff cherry vodka, 2oz of housemade lemonade, and lastly, blue curacao to float on top.
