November 15 is National Pancreatic Cancer Awareness Day and when guests dine at their local Carrabba’s Italian Grill restaurants and wear the color purple (representing pancreatic cancer awareness), they will receive 10 percent off their total check.

Supporting the fight against cancer, Carrabba’s Italian Grill restaurants nationwide are donating $1 from their newest dish, the Pasta Georgio, to cancer research through the end of the year. The dish was created in memory of George Minutaglio Jr., their Vice President of Operations who passed away earlier this year after battling pancreatic cancer.

Pasta Georgio features penne pasta with sautéed bell peppers and Romano, tossed in roasted red pepper sauce, then topped and baked with meatballs and mozzarella.
