Troy Guard, chef/owner of Denver-based TAG Restaurant Group, opened a second location of his popular burger concept, TAG Burger Bar in Denver, Colorado. The 3,000-square foot, 134-seat, full-service restaurant occupies the former Sunnyside Burger Bar space in Denver’s Highland neighborhood.

Following in the steps of its Congress Park counterpart, the menu features crowd favorites such as the Pastrami Nachos with house-cured pastrami; daily plated “Bistro” specials, including options like Bacon-Wrapped Meatloaf and Fried Chicken; Mac-n-Cheese with Cheez-Its and Goldfish crackers; and Deep Fried Oreos, in addition to Guard’s large selection of imaginative burgers, rotating seasonal brews, and boozy adult shakes and floats.

To celebrate the opening, Guard and the TAG Burger Bar team will be offering a special “Burger & Pint” deal. From January 21 through the end of the month, guests will receive a complimentary pint of the “beer of the day,” along with the purchase of any burger.

TAG Burger Bar’s Highland location is currently open for dinner only, and will begin lunch service on February 1.
