Bottleneck Management Announces Newest Concept City Works
Mayo Clinic Square will welcome a new dining spot this spring with the launch of Bottleneck Management’s newest concept, City Works. The restaurant will offer an extensive beer selection with 120 global and local beers on draft, chef-minded American cuisine with unexpected twists, and an audio visual set up in a contemporary industrial space.
“As Bottleneck Management begins to develop outside of Chicago, we wanted to create a concept that would fit within a new urban market, complement the strengths of that market, and also pay homage to our hometown, nicknamed ‘The City that Works,’” says Chris Bisaillon, CEO of Bottleneck Management. “After getting acquainted with the location in Minneapolis, we felt it was important for our concept to match the energy of the area. The revitalization of the Mayo Clinic and the cultural district inspired us to think critically about what would be the best fit for our first Midwest restaurant outside of Chicago.”
As Mayo Clinic Square has been transformed internally and externally, City Works will reflect the glass, stone, metal, and scrim architecture of the mall. Complete with stainless steel, rivets, copper, wood, and stone, City Works offers a sleek, urban yet rustic design to match the vitality of the Twin Cities.
Corporate Executive Chef Paul Katz is known for his inspired twists on American favorites. A menu of upscale, yet approachable classics is in the works with a wide selection of entrees as well as shareable options, all pairing with the restaurant’s wide variety of craft beers.
