Honey’s represents a group of friends joining forces to bring together their backgrounds to create a great restaurant in Chicago. The team including Charles Welch, Tyrone Redic, Andrew Miller, Virgil Abloh, Justin Furman, Paul Blair, and Ahmed Braimah strive to bring their sense of family and hospitality to the West Loop neighborhood early this spring.

Coming from a Michelin-starred background, Executive Chef Charles Welch helms the kitchen and hopes to offer guests a fine-dining level of food and presentation without the stiffness that’s so often tied to it. The entire team is determined to put the fun back in dining, in an atmosphere completely void of pretension. Welch plans to offer American cuisine with Mediterranean influence, with an approachable menu that rotates seasonally. Inspired by his Italian upbringing, Welch will offer dishes including handmade pastas, raw seafood preparations, grilled meats, and seasonal vegetables cooked over a J&R built grill, handmade in Texas.

The chef-driven cocktail menu is also led by Welch and will be focused and concise, offering only 5 cocktails, with an emphasis on the classics. The restaurant is set to open early spring 2016 at 1111 W. Lake Street.
